The Advanced Materials Cluster of Catalonia (MAV) held the webinar "MAV Projects: funding opportunities and success stories" on Wednesday, December 4, in which opportunities to finance projects of members of the MAV Cluster were presented and included the presentation of 6 innovative and collaborative co-financed projects that this year have been promoted within the framework of the MAV Cluster.
In total, this 2024 the MAV Cluster has secured funding for 3 regional projects (ACCIÓ's IRC program) and 5 state projects (MINTUR's AEI program).
These eight initiatives have had the participation of 32 entities, including 10 members of the MAV Cluster, with a budget of more than €1.5 million and €622,949 in direct subsidies, consolidating the impact of the sector in regional calls and state
At the European level, through the two projects in which the MAV Cluster participates (POLREC and AMULET), projects have also been subsidized by 10 members of the MAV Cluster, in the field of polymer recycling and lightweight materials, for a value of €432,300.

The featured projects not only drive technological innovation in advanced materials, but also respond to environmental, digital and sustainability challenges. Based on the involvement of the five working groups, these initiatives reinforce the leadership of the sector, generating opportunities and connecting local talent with international programs.
